The 2nd Judicial Circuit’s State of the Circuit During Covid-19 Update is posted on YouTube. Chief Judge Jonathan Sjostrom and the Communications Committee hosted the presentation during the February 19 Bench and Bar meeting. Judges from each trial division detailed changes since the pandemic began, current procedures, and case filings updates.
The Eighth Judicial Circuit has made it a priority to hear cases that impact children during this emergency period, whether those cases are classified as essential or are considered non-essential. Judges moved forward in unfamiliar territory to prevent these cases from being delayed.
