All courthouses in Broward County will be fully open and fully staffed beginning July 6, 2021.

The First DCA acted June 4 in Administrative Order 21-1
the same day Chief Justice Charles Canady issued an order allowing courts around Florida to lift requirements to wear masks and distance from others while in courtrooms during proceedings. The First DCA’s remote oral arguments are broadcast on YouTube.
The First District Court of Appeal will continue making a remote video option available to parties as a medium for conducting oral arguments.

Chief Justice Charles Canady recently ordered all circuit chief judges to develop local administrative orders to expedite the resolution of outstanding civil cases. Those orders, which required the review of all civil cases and sorting them into categories to determine how they will be handled, became effective April 30.
Anthony Rondolino, the chief judge of the Sixth Judicial Circuit, on Tuesday, May 11, 2021, modified the sixth circuit's operational plan as it affects civil trials in Pasco County. The chief judge has determined that civil jury trials in Pasco may resume May 17, 2021.
